The Point Pleasant Big Blacks football squad scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Marietta Tigers to 41 in the Big Blacks non-league victory on Friday.

The Big Blacks now possess a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Robert C. Byrd for a non-league battle on Friday, October 20. Point Pleasant will face a Eagles squad coming off a 63-19 league loss to Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV). The Eagles record now stands at 1-6.

Coming up next, the Tigers face the Warren Warriors (Vincent, OH) in a Twin State battle, on Friday, October 20. Marietta will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 4-5 record after their 48-7 non-league win over Alexander (Albany, OH).
