Pennsylvania High School Football - Marion Center can't get by Purchase Line

October 13, 2023: Marion Center, PA 15759

Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA), 14-7 in a league test.

With the triumph, Purchase Line improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Red Dragons travel to Homer-Center (Homer City, PA) to confront the Wildcats in a Heritage test on Friday, October 20. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-6. Homer-Center lost 27-24 in their recent league test against West Shamokin (Rural Valley, PA)

With the loss, Marion Center drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Stingers travel to Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA) to play the Indians in a non-league battle on Friday, October 20. The Indians enter the battle with a record of 0-8. Conemaugh Township lost 41-6 in their recent league battle against Cambria Heights (Patton, PA)
