The McDonald County Mustangs football team (Anderson, MO), was beaten 38-14 in Friday's league challenge with the host Seneca Indians (Seneca, MO)

The Indians (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Nevada (Nevada, MO). The Tigers come into the Big 8 - West challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Nevada achieved victory over Monett (Monett, MO), 48-0, in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host East Newton for a Big 8 - West challenge on Friday, October 20. McDonald County will meet a Patriots team coming off a 32-7 non-league loss to Aurora (Aurora, MO). The Patriots record now stands at 2-6.
