The Melvindale Cardinals football team (Melvindale, MI), was knocked off 12-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Romulus Eagles (Romulus, MI)

The Eagles (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Grosse Ile (Grosse Ile, MI). The Red Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Grosse Ile was knocked off by Riverview (Riverview, MI), 54-7, in a league challenge.
