In Friday's league match, the visiting Randle Lions football squad scored a good 56-28 victory over the Montgomery Bears.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Lamar Consolidated Mustangs (Rosenberg, TX) in a 5A-2 Region III District 10 match, on Friday, October 20. Randle will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 2-6 record after their 42-7 league loss to Brenham (Brenham, TX).

The Bears (0-8) will now prepare for their match against Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX). The Mustangs enter the 5A-2 Region III District 10 match with a 2-6 record.
