California High School Football - Selma topped by Washington Union

The Selma Bears football team (Selma, CA), was beaten 15-7 in Friday's league challenge with the host Washington Union Panthers (Fresno, CA)

The Panthers (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Valley Christian (Visalia, CA). The Cavaliers come into the Tri-County - Kings Canyon challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Central Valley Christian achieved victory over Kingsburg (Kingsburg, CA), 32-22, in a league challenge.

The Bears now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host Kerman for a Tri-County - Kings Canyon challenge on Friday, October 20. Selma will meet a Lions team coming off a 41-6 non-league win over Hanford West (Hanford, CA). The Lions record now stands at 3-5.
