The Sheridan Generals football team (Thornville, OH), was beaten 28-17 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Tri-Valley Scotties (Dresden, OH)

The Scotties (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against John Glenn (New Concord, OH). The Little Muskies come into the Muskingum Valley - Big challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, John Glenn achieved victory over Philo (Duncan Falls, OH), 37-12, in a league challenge.

The Generals now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Lexington for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 20. Sheridan will meet a Panthers team coming off a 35-0 league win over Crooksville (Crooksville, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 5-4.
