October 13, 2023: Sylmar, CA 91342 The Sylmar Spartans football team (Sylmar, CA), was knocked off 33-22 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Kennedy Cougars (Granada Hills, CA)
The Cougars (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Saugus (Saugus, CA). The Centurions come into the non-league challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, Saugus was knocked off by Castaic (Castaic, CA), 39-13, in a league challenge.
The Spartans now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Van Nuys for a challenge on Thursday, October 19. Sylmar will meet a Wolves team coming off a 18-0 league loss to Reseda (Reseda, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 0-4.
