Virginia High School Soccer - Potomac School knocks off King Abdullah Academy
October 13, 2023: McLean, VA 22101 Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting King Abdullah Academy Falcons (Herndon, VA), 6-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Panthers confront the St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 17. Potomac School will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 4-1 league loss to Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC).
The Falcons now have a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Randolph-Macon Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 16. King Abdullah Academy will confront a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 4-0 league win over Wakefield School (The Plains, VA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 4-3.
