October 13, 2023: Bridgeport, CT 06606 The Staples Wreckers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers to 0 in the Wreckers league victory on Friday.
The Wreckers now have a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warde for a Fairfield County game on Monday, October 16. Staples will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Danbury (Danbury, CT). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-0.
The Hilltoppers (2-9) will now prepare for their game against Wilton (Wilton, CT). The Warriors enter the Fairfield County game with a 5-10 record. In their last game, Wilton dropped by Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT), 3-2, in a league game.
