October 13, 2023: San Bruno, CA 94066 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons (Hillsborough, CA) and the host Capuchino Mustangs (San Bruno, CA), saw Crystal Springs Uplands's volleyball squad nip Capuchino by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, Crystal Springs Uplands upgrades its record to 17-2 on the year. The Gryphons host Harker (San Jose, CA) to play the Eagles in a West Bay - Skyline bout on Tuesday, October 17. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 13-5. Harker won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Milpitas (Milpitas, CA)
The Mustangs now own a 10-11 record. They play next when they travel to Westmoor for a Peninsula - Ocean bout on Tuesday, October 17. Capuchino will play a Rams squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to South San Francisco (South San Francisco, CA). The Rams record now stands at 2-22.
