The Morton Potters held off the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.

The Potters now have a 23-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Metamora for a non-league test on Saturday, October 14. Morton will confront a Redbirds team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Routt Catholic (Jacksonville, IL). The Redbirds record now stands at 23-4.

The Railsplitters (24-4) will now prepare for their test against Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL). The Trojans enter the non-league test with a 6-20 record. In their last test, Maroa-Forsyth was nudged by Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
