October 13, 2023: Rochester, NY 14607 The Wayne Eagles (Ontario Center, NY) volleyball overcame the host School of the Arts Silverhawks (Rochester, NY), 3-0 in Friday's non-league outing.
With the win, Wayne betters its record to 6-11 on the year. The Eagles travel to Palmyra-Macedon (Palmyra, NY) to face the Red Raiders in a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East outing on Tuesday, October 17. The Red Raiders go into the outing with a record of 3-14. Palmyra-Macedon won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Gananda Central (Walworth, NY)
The Silverhawks now sport a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lyons for a non-league outing on Monday, October 16. School of the Arts will face a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Williamson (Williamson, NY). The Lions record now stands at 16-0.
