In Monday's league challenge, the host Lynden Christian Lyncs volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Ferndale Golden Eagles.

The Lyncs (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Squalicum (Bellingham, WA). The Storm go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Squalicum gained a win over Lakewood (Arlington, WA), 3-0, in a league test.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lynden for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Thursday, October 16. Ferndale will play a Lions team coming off a 3-0 league win over Sehome (Bellingham, WA). The Lions record now stands at 10-0.
