Hawken Hawks (Gates Mills, OH) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Trinity Trojans (Garfield Heights, OH), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Hawken improves its record to 9-10 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Bedford (Bedford, OH) to meet the Bearcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 16. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 11-3.

Next, the Trojans meet the Lakeview Bulldogs (Cortland, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 20. Trinity will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 13-10 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Laurel (Shaker Heights, OH).
