Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Norfolk Christian Ambassadors (Norfolk, VA) and the visiting Phoebus Phantoms (Hampton, VA), observed Norfolk Christian's volleyball team top Phoebus by a tally of 3-1.

The Ambassadors (15-11) will now prepare for their contest against Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA). The Crusaders enter the VISAA Division 1 battle with a 18-8 record. In their last battle, Catholic achieved victory over Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Phantoms now own a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hampton for a Peninsula battle on Tuesday, October 14. Phoebus will encounter a Crabbers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Warwick (Newport News, VA). The Crabbers record now stands at 6-9.
