October 14, 2022: Herminie, PA 15637 In Friday's league match, the visiting Apollo Ridge Vikings football squad scored a good 26-13 victory over the Yough Cougars.
In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Serra Catholic Eagles (McKeesport, PA) in a WPIAL AA Allegheny match, on Friday, October 21. Apollo Ridge will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 7-1 record after their 27-18 league win over Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA).
The Cougars (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Steel Valley (Munhall, PA). The Ironmen enter the WPIAL AA Allegheny match with a 7-0 record. In their last match, Steel Valley thwarted Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA), 48-0, in a league match.
