Massachusetts High School Football - Barnstable drops to Mansfield
October 14, 2022: Hyannis, MA 02601 In Friday's non-league game, the Mansfield Hornets (Mansfield, MA) football team knocked off the host Barnstable Red Hawks (Hyannis, MA), by a final score of 20-6.
The Hornets (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Oliver Ames (North Easton, MA). The Tigers come into the Hockomock - Davenport game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Oliver Ames was dropped by Taunton (Taunton, MA), 46-14, in a non-league game.
The Red Hawks now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Milford for a non-league game on Friday, October 21. Barnstable will battle a Hawks team coming off a 19-7 league loss to King Philip Regional (Wrentham, MA). The Hawks record now stands at 5-1.
