The Center Point Pirates football team (Center Point, TX), was ripped 42-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Brackett Tigers (Brackettville, TX)

The Tigers (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Rocksprings (Rocksprings, TX). The Angoras come into the 2A-2 Region IV District 15 challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Rocksprings trounced Charlotte (Charlotte, TX), 14-8, in a league challenge.

The Pirates now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Pryor for a 2A-2 Region IV District 15 challenge on Friday, October 21. Center Point will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 31-8 league loss to D'Hanis (D'Hanis, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-4.
