The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Burlington Wildcats (Burlington, KS) and the visiting Osawatomie Trojans (Osawatomie, KS), observed Burlington's football squad defeat Osawatomie by a count of 34-14.

The Wildcats now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Girard for a Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee contest on Friday, October 21. Burlington will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 47-7 non-league win over Anderson County (Garnett, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 7-0.
