With the triumph, Grand Valley improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Rifle (Rifle, CO) to confront the Bears in a 2A League 6 test on Friday, October 21. The Bears come into the test with a record of 3-4. Rifle won 43-7 in their recent league test against Aspen (Aspen, CO)
With the loss, Coal Ridge drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Basalt (Basalt, CO) to confront the Longhorns in a 2A League 6 test on Friday, October 21. The Longhorns come into the test with a record of 7-0. Basalt won 34-20 in their recent league test against Moffat County (Craig, CO)
