North Carolina High School Football - Covenant Day defeats Corvian Community

October 14, 2022: Matthews, NC 28105

In Friday's non-league match, the host Covenant Day Lions football squad scored a good 27-14 victory over the Corvian Community Cardinals.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Hickory Grove Christian Lions (Charlotte, NC) in a NCISAA Piedmont match, on Friday, October 21. Covenant Day will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 7-1 record after their 40-32 non-league loss to Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC).

The Cardinals (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Victory Christian Center (Charlotte, NC). The Kings enter the non-league match with a 3-3 record.
