The Upper Scioto Valley Rams (McGuffey, OH) football defeated the visiting Elgin Comets (Marion, OH), 34-14 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Rams face the Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH) in a Northwest Central bout, on Friday, October 21. Upper Scioto Valley will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Golden Gophers enter the bout with a 4-5 record after their 35-20 league loss to Hardin Northern (Dola, OH).

The Comets (4-5) will now prepare for their bout against Crestline (Crestline, OH). The Bulldogs enter the Northwest Central bout with a 0-9 record. In their last bout, Crestline was toppled by Perry (Lima, OH), 41-0, in a league bout.
