October 14, 2022: Norton, VA 24273 Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host J.I. Burton Black Raiders (Norton, VA), 68-26 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Grundy improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Golden Wave travel to Hurley (Hurley, VA) to battle the Rebels in a Black Diamond test on Friday, October 21. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 4-3. Hurley lost 41-20 in their recent league test against Honaker (Honaker, VA)
With the loss, J.I. Burton drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Black raiders travel to Castlewood (Castlewood, VA) to battle the Blue Devils in a Cumberland test on Friday, October 21. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 1-6. Castlewood lost 54-6 in their recent non-league test against Lebanon (Lebanon, VA)
