California High School Football - Hilltop prevails Sweetwater

October 14, 2022: National City, CA 91950

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA) and the host Sweetwater Red Devils (National City, CA), observed Hilltop's football squad defeat Sweetwater by a count of 31-6.

The Lancers now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Olympian for a Metro - South Bay bout on Friday, October 21. Hilltop will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 22-0 league loss to Montgomery (San Diego, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-5.

The Red Devils (3-5) will now prepare for their bout against Montgomery (San Diego, CA). The Aztecs enter the Metro - South Bay bout with a 6-2 record. In their last bout, Montgomery thwarted Olympian (Chula Vista, CA), 22-0, in a league bout.
