In Friday's league match, the visiting Monroe Redhawks football squad scored a big 40-0 victory over the Parkwood Wolf Pack.

In their next game, the Redhawks clash with the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) in a 2A/3A West Conference 44 match, on Friday, October 21. Monroe will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Colts enter the match with a 3-5 record after their 35-14 league loss to Forest Hills (Marshville, NC).

The Wolf Pack (4-5) will now prepare for their match against Anson (Wadesboro, NC). The Bearcats enter the 2A/3A West Conference 44 match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Anson was crushed by Forest Hills (Marshville, NC), 35-14, in a league match.
