The Piute Thunderbirds topped the visiting Monument Valley Cougars volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.

The Thunderbirds now have a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Duchesne for a non-league test on Friday, October 14. Piute will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to North Summit (Coalville, UT). The Eagles record now stands at 11-8.

The Cougars (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Rowland Hall (Salt Lake City, UT). The Winged Lions enter the non-league test with a 7-12 record. In their last test, Rowland Hall was knocked off by St. Joseph (Ogden, UT), 3-1, in a league test.
