October 14, 2022: Potomac, MD 20854 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD) and the visiting Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests (Sandy Spring, MD), saw St. Andrew's Episcopal's volleyball squad beat Sandy Spring Friends by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, St. Andrew's Episcopal upgrades its record to 3-6 on the year. The Lions host St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Alexandria, VA) to play the Saints in a ISL bout on Tuesday, October 18. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 2-5. St. Stephen's & St. Agnes lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Potomac School (McLean, VA)
The Wildebeests now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Model Secondary School for the Deaf for a PVAC bout on Tuesday, October 18. Sandy Spring Friends will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Washington Christian Academy (Olney, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 18-13.
