The Valley Vikings (Las Vegas, NV) volleyball nudged the host Somerset Sky Pointe Eagles (Las Vegas, NV), 2-1 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Valley betters its record to 6-6 on the year. The Vikings host Southeast Career Tech (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Roadrunners in a 4A Sky bout on Monday, October 17. The Roadrunners go into the bout with a record of 17-9. Southeast Career Tech won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Rancho (Las Vegas, NV)
