The Putnam Vo-Tech Beavers football team (Springfield, MA), was beaten 36-8 in Saturday's league challenge with the host Taconic Thunder (Pittsfield, MA)

The Thunder (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ludlow (Ludlow, MA). The Lions come into the Suburban - North challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Ludlow was beaten by South Hadley (South Hadley, MA), 50-16, in a league challenge.

The Beavers now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Pittsfield for a Suburban - North challenge on Friday, October 20. Putnam Vo-Tech will meet a Generals team coming off a 62-19 league win over Chicopee (Chicopee, MA). The Generals record now stands at 3-3.
