New York High School Football - Westhampton Beach held off by Sayville
October 14, 2023: Sayville, NY 11796 Sayville Golden Flashes (Sayville, NY) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Westhampton Beach Hurricanes (Westhampton Beach, NY), 19-18 in a league test.
With the triumph, Sayville improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Golden Flashes travel to Comsewogue (Port Jefferson Station, NY) to battle the Warriors in a Section 11 Division III test on Friday, October 20. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 4-2. Comsewogue lost 29-7 in their recent league test against Harborfields (Greenlawn, NY)
With the loss, Westhampton Beach drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Kings Park (Kings Park, NY) to battle the Kingsmen in a Section 11 Division III test on Friday, October 20. The Kingsmen come into the test with a record of 4-3. Kings Park won 37-6 in their recent league test against East Hampton-Bridgehampton-Pierson (East Hampton, NY)
