October 14, 2023: Staten Island, NY 10312 The St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings football team (Staten Island, NY), was beaten 32-12 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds (Uniondale, NY)
The Firebirds (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Anthony's (Melville, NY). The Friars come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, St. Anthony's was beaten by Monsignor Farrell (Staten Island, NY), 33-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. John the Baptist for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 21. St. Joseph-by-the-Sea will meet a Cougars team coming off a 18-14 non-league loss to Holy Cross (Flushing, NY). The Cougars record now stands at 2-2.
