October 14, 2023: New Orleans, LA 70113 The Academy of the Sacred Heart Saints prevailed the host Booker T. Washington Lions volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Saints now have a 11-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Episcopal of Acadiana for a Division V District 2 test on Tuesday, October 17. Academy of the Sacred Heart will confront a Falcons team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Dutchtown (Geismar, LA). The Falcons record now stands at 12-15.
The Lions (10-21) will now prepare for their test against Kennedy (New Orleans, LA). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Kennedy gained a win over Cohen (New Orleans, LA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
