New York High School Volleyball - Brighton over Geneva
October 14, 2023: Rochester, NY 14618 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Brighton Bruins (Rochester, NY) and the visiting Geneva Panthers (Geneva, NY), saw Brighton's volleyball squad beat Geneva by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Brighton upgrades its record to 5-10 on the year. The Bruins host Churchville-Chili (Churchville, NY) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 18. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 2-11. Churchville-Chili lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Irondequoit (Rochester, NY)
The Panthers now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Newark for a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East bout on Tuesday, October 17. Geneva will play a Reds squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Franklin (Rochester, NY). The Reds record now stands at 4-11.
