California High School Volleyball - Christopher over Evergreen Valley
October 14, 2023: San Jose, CA 95148 Christopher Cougars (Gilroy, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Evergreen Valley Cougars (San Jose, CA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Cougars clash with the Santa Teresa Saints (San Jose, CA) in a BVAL - Santa Teresa East match, on Tuesday, October 17. Christopher will attempt to advance on its 14-9 season record. The Saints come into the match with a 8-6 record after their 3-2 league loss to Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA).
With the loss, Evergreen Valley drops to 7-9 on the campaign. The Cougars host Westmont (Campbell, CA) to clash with the Warriors in a BVAL - Mt. Hamilton match on Tuesday, October 17. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 15-6. Westmont lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Branham (San Jose, CA)
