New York High School Volleyball - Mohonasen over Duanesburg
October 14, 2023: Schenectady, NY 12303 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Mohonasen Warriors (Schenectady, NY) and the visiting Duanesburg Eagles (Delanson, NY), saw Mohonasen's volleyball squad beat Duanesburg by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Mohonasen upgrades its record to 9-6 on the year. The Warriors travel to Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk (Ravena, NY) to play the Indians in a Section 2 Colonial - Liberty bout on Monday, October 16. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Cobleskill-Richmondville (Cobleskill, NY)
The Eagles now own a 6-16 record. They play next when they travel to Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville for a bout on Wednesday, October 18. Duanesburg will play a Wolves squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Galway (Galway, NY). The Wolves record now stands at 6-10.
