Louisiana High School Volleyball - East Ascension edged by West Ouachita
October 14, 2023: West Monroe, LA 71292 The West Ouachita Chiefs held off the visiting East Ascension Spartans volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Chiefs now have a 23-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ruston for a non-league test on Saturday, October 14. West Ouachita will confront a Bearcats team coming off a 3-0 league win over Alexandria (Alexandria, LA). The Bearcats record now stands at 19-7.
The Spartans (21-16) will now prepare for their test against Airline (Bossier City, LA). The Vikings enter the non-league test with a 17-10 record. In their last test, Airline was nudged by Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
