The Edwards County Lions held off the visiting Norris City-Omaha-Enfield Fighting Cardinals volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Lions now have a 20-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carmi-White County for a non-league test on Saturday, October 14. Edwards County will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Fairfield (Fairfield, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 20-3.
