October 14, 2023: Morgan City, LA 70380 The Morgan City Tigers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Franklin Hornets to 0 in the Tigers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers now possess a 24-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newman for a non-league game on Saturday, October 14. Morgan City will meet a Greenies team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Westlake (Westlake, LA). The Greenies record now stands at 23-6.
The Hornets (3-18) will now prepare for their game against South Lafourche (Galliano, LA). The Tarpons enter the non-league game with a 11-17 record. In their last game, South Lafourche defeated South Terrebonne (Bourg, LA), 3-0, in a league game.
