October 14, 2023: Waterloo, IA 50703 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Waterloo East Trojans (Waterloo, IA) and the visiting Hoover Huskies (Des Moines, IA), saw Waterloo East's volleyball squad beat Hoover by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Waterloo East upgrades its record to 9-23 on the year. The Trojans travel to Des Moines North (Des Moines, IA) to play the Polar Bears in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 14. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a record of 0-12. Des Moines North lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Perry (Perry, IA)
The Huskies now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to Carlisle for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 17.
