October 14, 2023: Mt. Pulaski, IL 62548 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the LeRoy Panthers (LeRoy, IL) and the host Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers (Mt. Pulaski, IL), saw LeRoy's volleyball squad beat Mt. Pulaski by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, LeRoy upgrades its record to 18-11 on the year. The Panthers travel to Lexington (Lexington, IL) to encounter the Minutemen in a Heart of Illinois battle on Tuesday, October 17. The Minutemen come into the battle with a record of 16-12. Lexington lost 2-0 in their recent league battle against Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL)
Next, the Hilltoppers encounter the Illini Central Cougars (Mason City, IL) in a Tomahawk bout, on Tuesday, October 17. Mt. Pulaski will attempt to upgrade on its 8-17 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 9-18 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Greenview (Greenview, IL).
