October 14, 2023: Mendon, IL 62351 The Peoria Lions volleyball team (Peoria, IL), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Mendon Unity Mustangs (Mendon, IL)
The Mustangs (17-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL). The Flying Geese come into the non-league challenge with a 21-5 record. In their last challenge, Wethersfield went down by East Moline United (East Moline, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lions encounter the Richwoods Knights (Peoria, IL) in a Big Twelve challenge, on Tuesday, October 17. Peoria will attempt to move on its 4-16 season record.
