October 14, 2023: Morrison, IL 61270 In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Morrison Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Peoria Lions.
The Mustangs (4-23) will now prepare for their battle against Erie-Prophetstown (Erie, IL). The Panthers come into the Three Rivers battle with a 20-8 record. In their last battle, Erie-Prophetstown achieved victory over Riverdale (Port Byron, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Lions clash with the Knoxville Blue Bullets (Knoxville, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 14. Peoria will attempt to advance on its 4-16 season record. The Blue Bullets come into the battle with a 16-7 record after their 2-0 league loss to Monmouth United (Monmouth, IL).
