Louisiana High School Volleyball - Patterson tips New Iberia
October 14, 2023: Patterson, LA 70392 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Patterson Lumberjacks (Patterson, LA) and the visiting New Iberia Yellowjackets (New Iberia, LA), saw Patterson's volleyball squad nip New Iberia by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Patterson upgrades its record to 7-10 on the year. The Lumberjacks host St. James (St. James, LA) to play the Wildcats in a Division IV District 6 bout on Monday, October 16. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 9-15. St. James won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Patterson (Patterson, LA)
The Yellowjackets now own a 6-21 record. They play next when they travel to Barbe for a bout on Tuesday, October 17. New Iberia will play a Buccaneers squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Lafayette (Lafayette, LA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 14-11.
