October 14, 2024: Springfield, OR 97478 Thurston Colts (Springfield, OR) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Crater Comets (Central Point, OR), 49-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Thurston improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Colts host Lebanon (Lebanon, OR) to play the Warriors in a non-league battle on Monday, October 28. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Comets now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they host North Eugene for a non-league battle on Monday, October 21. Crater will play a Highlanders team coming off a 26-14 non-league win over Churchill (Eugene, OR). The Highlanders record now stands at 4-2.
