October 14, 2024: Clarksville, MD 21029 Fans at Monday's league contest between the River Hill Hawks (Clarksville, MD) and the visiting Atholton Raiders (Columbia, MD), observed River Hill's volleyball team top Atholton by a count of 2-0.
The Hawks (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Broadneck (Annapolis, MD). The Bruins enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Broadneck notched a victory over Severn Run (Severn, MD), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Raiders meet the Long Reach Lightning (Columbia, MD) in a contest, on Wednesday, October 16. Atholton will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Lightning enter the contest with a 4-6 record after their 2-0 league win over Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD).
