October 14, 2024: Old Bridge, NJ 08857 Metuchen Bulldogs (Metuchen, NJ) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Calvary Christian Lions (Old Bridge, NJ), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Metuchen moves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Governor Livingston (Berkeley Heights, NJ) to meet the Highlanders in a non-league test on Thursday, October 17. The Highlanders come into the test with a record of 1-10. Governor Livingston lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Union (Union, NJ)
The Lions now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dunellen for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 16. Calvary Christian will meet a Destroyers team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Middlesex (Middlesex, NJ). The Destroyers record now stands at 4-3.
