Louisiana High School Volleyball - Covington over Central Catholic
October 14, 2024: Morgan City, LA 70380 In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Covington Lions volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Central Catholic Eagles.
The Lions (12-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Slidell (Slidell, LA). The Tigers come into the Division I District 6 challenge with a 32-2 record. In their last challenge, Slidell beat Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Covenant Christian Academy Lions (Houma, LA) in a Division V District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, October 15. Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 11-12 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 19-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Centerville (Centerville, LA).
