Arizona High School Flag Football - Arizona College Prep defeats Desert Edge

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Arizona College Prep Knights (Chandler, AZ) and the host Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ), witnessed Arizona College Prep's flag football squad topple Desert Edge by a count of 31-14.

The Knights (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ). The Rams go into the 5A San Tan battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Maricopa was topped by Youngker (Buckeye, AZ), 7-6, in a non-league battle.

The Scorpions now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Verrado for a 5A Northwest Valley battle on Thursday, October 16. Desert Edge will encounter a Vipers team coming off a 71-0 league win over Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ). The Vipers record now stands at 3-2.
