Arizona High School Flag Football - Youngker nips Maricopa
October 14, 2025: Buckeye, AZ 85326 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Youngker Roughriders (Buckeye, AZ) and the visiting Maricopa Rams (Maricopa, AZ), witnessed Youngker's flag football squad edge Maricopa by a tally of 7-6.
The Roughriders (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ). The Aztecs enter the 5A Northwest Valley contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Copper Canyon was nudged by Verrado (Buckeye, AZ), 71-0, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Rams battle the Arizona College Prep Knights (Chandler, AZ) in a 5A San Tan bout, on Thursday, October 16. Maricopa will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 4-2 record after their 31-14 non-league win over Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ).
